I improvised this song on my daughter’s first day of Eskari in 2020. Of course, I didn’t torture her with a three-minute song at that point, but over the upcoming weeks, I fleshed out different parts and rhymes.
At some point in 2026, I wrote the F♯-B bass line that grounds the last section without realizing that it should be part of Eskari Girl. It was only when putting the song together for the Raritan project that the whole thing clicked and it fully embraced its prog-rock, dad-joke goofiness. Sorry, Maija 🤗
